Welcome to our virtual clubhouse, where members of the UBelong Club can hang out and get to know each other by sharing experiences and information, making UB friends before even stepping foot on campus. Have you thought about who your roommate might be, or when you’ll travel to Buffalo, how you’ll find new ways to pursue your interests or find new friends at UB? Well, we think this is a great place for you to start thinking about those things and more, by making a place for yourself at UB in the UBelong Club!
When you got your admission letter, did you notice the envelope it came in, or the folder all your admission materials were packed in? Our motto was printed on both: ”See where our world can take you”. What do you think that means? Where do you expect UB to be able to take you? We bet that you all have some pretty spectacular plans for your future, and we want you to tell each other about them! So go ahead, become an active member of the UBelong Club by contributing to this blog – and tell us where our world will take you!

Welcome to all the newly accepted students who are checking out this blog because of the UBelong Club invitation we sent with your UB admission packet!
This club is meant for YOU. Join the club so that you can talk to other newly accepted students in the “Your Club” section of this blog – scroll down to the post entitled “JOIN THE CLUB!” for instructions and join soon so that we can get this party started!
And for those of you who have already paid your Tuition Deposit to reserve your place at UB, you can join the members-only UBelong Summer Seminar section of the UBelong Club! There you will have access to live chats and posts written especially for you from the staff of International Admissions and distinguished UB faculty, and you’ll get to participate in our EXCLUSIVE shared intellectual and service experience initiatives. Participation will help you to develop the skills needed as a UB student, and it’s also fun! Watch for our big announcement about what our shared intellectual experience will be this summer. Hope to talk to each and every one of you soon here in the UBelong Club. Don’t be shy – this is YOUR place to get to know us and each other better so you’ll have great friends already when you come to UB in August!
(P.S. Some of you may worry about participating and writing posts here because you want your English to be perfect. Don’t worry about that here in the Club, this is a place where you can all get to know each other in a relaxed and friendly way, so nobody cares about your spelling, grammar and vocabulary! )
